Gary R. Pannone

Gary PannoneGary R. Pannone is the Managing Partner of PLDO and he leads the Business Law Team. His practice concentrates in the areas of business formations, acquisitions, mergers, corporate compliance and nonprofit organizations. In addition to representing his for profit clients, Mr. Pannone has devoted a significant amount of his professional life advising nonprofit organizations. In addition to representing nonprofit organizations he also serves on several boards. Examples of his work in this area include:

  • Develop and present a free legal seminars in partnership with United Way for the Rhode Island nonprofit community
  • Partner with Roger William University School of Law Pro Bono Collaborative, a legal support group of attorneys, law firms and law students who work on various projects initiated by nonprofit organizations.
    United Way of Rhode Island selected speaker for its annual conference on "Mergers and Consolidations."
    Published articles and white papers for nonprofit organizations in the areas of corporate formation, board governance, corporate compliance, financial accountability for nonprofit organizations.

Kimberly Silva and nonprofitGuidance

Kimberly SilvaKimberly Silva is a well recognized expert for nonprofit organizations with a background in finance and accounting. She possesses considerable skills and experience in assisting nonprofit organizations with respect to financial management, board and operational assessment, organizational development, strategic planning and merger and consolidations and strategic alliances. Ms. Silva is a graduate of Providence College and the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education Program. Her current volunteer activities include serving as a National Trustee for the Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA) and as a member of the Mergers and Consolidations committee for the United Way of Rhode Island.
