PLDO Partner John (Jay) R. Gowell Releases ‘Fundamentals of a Business Transaction for a Public Development Project’ Informational Video

PLDO Partner John (Jay) R. Gowell, a member of the firm's Corporate & Business Team, has released 'The Fundamentals of a Business Transaction for a Public Development Project', the sixth broadcast in the PLDO series of online informational videos available to the public on the firm's website at www.pldw.com, and its YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/PLDWLLC. In the video, Attorney Gowell guides the viewer through four steps critical to ensuring a successful business transaction and explores the options for financing public development projects, including 'Tax Increment Financing', which provides an incentive for companies to help offset site development and infrastructure costs, as well as municipalities that are seeking substantial tax revenues for the life of the project.
