Jackvony, Of Counsel, both prominent estate and trust attorneys, will be featured speakers at a National Business Institute (NBI) seminar on "Top Challenges in Estate Administration" on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 26 and 27, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza, 801 Greenwich Avenue in Warwick.

Attorney Carlino will teach two workshops on Tuesday: "Impediments to Initial Steps and Notices, Opening the Estate" from 9:25 a.m. to 10:25 a.m., and "Marshalling the Assets: Key Complications" from 11:35 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attorney Jackvony will also teach two workshops on Tuesday: "Personal Representative/Trustee Problems" from 10:40 a.m. to 11:35 a.m. and "Business Complications in Estate Administration" from 3:40 p.m. to 4:40 p.m. On Wednesday (June 27) from 3:40p.m. to 4:40 p.m., Attorney Jackvony will address the topic, "Sticky Estate and Trust Contests, Disputes, Challenges." Attorney Carlino is a highly respected attorney with more than 25 years of experience in all areas of estate and tax planning and administration, probate administration and trust litigation, and Medicaid planning and Elder Law. His significant experience in Elder Law includes advising individuals and families in all phases of the long-term care and Medicaid planning, and handling appeals through the state administrative hearing process. The depth and breadth of his experience is extensive in all areas of his practice and includes estate planning for high net worth individuals, asset protection and representing individuals before the Internal Revenue Service in contested assessments during the examination phase, before the Appeals Division, and at trial in the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the Federal District Court. In addition, Attorney Carlino advises clients in all matters of federal income tax planning, including structuring and implementing like-kind exchanges from routine to a highly sophisticated nature, and advising corporate taxpayers and shareholders in connection with tax-free reorganizations.

Attorney Carlino earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, his LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a B.S. in Accountancy from Providence College, magna cum laude. He is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Florida.

Attorney Jackvony is a nationally recognized fiduciary litigator and concentrates his practice in the areas of trusts and estates including litigation, administration and planning for individuals, families, fiduciaries and charitable organizations. He has represented clients in fiduciary litigation in Rhode Island, Florida, New Jersey, California, New York, Massachusetts and Oklahoma. In the late 1990s, he served the citizens of Rhode Island as the state's Lieutenant Governor.
