Biography/Practice Areas

Matthew C. Reeber is a Partner with Pannone Lopes Devereaux & O’Gara LLC and a member of the firm’s Litigation and Employment Law Teams. He is a highly skilled and experienced trial attorney and litigator, focusing his practice on defending clients in both state and federal courts.

Attorney Reeber is panel counsel for a wide range of clients and has successfully handled matters ranging from major property losses to wrongful termination claims. He prides himself on bringing
matters to a successful conclusion in a timely and cost-effective manner. Attorney Reeber recently defended the Providence Water Supply Board in a case arising out of an alleged defective repair and obtained a favorable jury verdict after a five-day trial.

For his professional achievements and legal skills, he was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2021 and 2022 editions for his litigation practice and was named a Rhode Island Super Lawyers Rising Star for multiple consecutive years.

He earned his J.D. in 2006 from Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition to his juris doctorate, Attorney Reeber also received an Admiralty Certificate from Tulane University School of Law. Attorney Reeber received his undergraduate degree in American Studies and History, cum laude, from Colby College in 2001. He is admitted to practice law in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and Rhode Island.
